Two Hours Later
Karen opens the door and shows the final visitor out, thanking them profusely for the visit and urging them to check her other listings out online. The young agent seems desperate. Karen's ears prick up and she fishes in the trash bag for a flyer, handing it to him. 'It's $749,000 asking,' she says. 'But I'm sure the homeowner would be open to negotiate that down a bit.' The man stares at her while she urges him to look over the details again. He smiles. 'I'll take it.'
Karen can't believe it. A huge smile crosses her face as she hugs the man, thanking him profusely. She tells him she'll need to get some paperwork and an initial offer in the books today to meet her quota.
